GOPET ROMANIA is active in the freight forwarding business for 20+ years and has established a strong reputation for providing reliable and efficient services to clients. As part of the GOPET GROUP, we have business activities in 7 countries: Bulgaria, Romania, Poland, Greece, Spain, Türkiye and North Macedonia. We offer a wide range of services including road, air and sea freight forwarding, and intermodal, warehousing, and distribution.
We are looking to expand our team with an HR Specialist who will actively participate in the daily HR operations and contribute to improving the company’s internal processes.
Our new colleague will be responsible for delivering comprehensive HR services to the business by:
- Providing proactive advice on best HR practices and, when necessary, directly managing specific situations.
- Offering continuous support for people management and contributing to a strong organizational culture.
The ideal candidate will have:
- University degree, preferably in Human Resources Management or a related field.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) – mandatory.
- Relevant professional experience in recruitment and retention, onboarding, employee relations, learning and development, and training.
- Strong understanding of the Romanian labor market.
- Solid knowledge of Romanian labor law and social security legislation.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive, results-oriented approach.
- Diplomacy and confidence.
The responsibilities of our future colleague:
- Managing internal HR processes, including the preparation and implementation of policies, procedures, and internal regulations.
- Creating and updating job descriptions for all positions within the company.
- Defining recruitment strategies, managing recruitment channels, and overseeing the entire recruitment, selection, and onboarding activities.
- Coordinating training and development processes, including needs assessment, planning, collaboration with internal and external trainers, monitoring, and evaluation.
- Developing and implementing HR processes to retain and develop the right talent within the organization.
- Building the company’s reputation; implementing the Employer Branding strategy and organizing events (e.g., career fairs).
- Assisting and supporting the management team in resolving HR-related issues.
- Managing employee relations: maintaining compliance-related documentation, participating in investigations of disciplinary issues, and coordinating the performance evaluation process.
- Participating in local and group-level HR projects.
