We are pleased to announce that Mrs. Ramona Pacuraru is appointed the new Chief Executive Officer of GOPET TRANS as of January 1, 2024.
Joining GOPET ROMANIA since its early beginnings in 2002, Mrs. Pacuraru advanced from a Freight Forwarder to the complex and challenging position of Regional Director, reflecting her leadership and business acumen. In her latest role, she directed numerous initiatives, significantly enhancing company’s market presence and making it not only the second-largest contributor to our group revenues but also a top 15 player in the local market.
Succeeding the founder and former CEO, Mr. Peter Petrov, Mrs. Pacuraru is prepared to continue and build on his remarkable legacy. Mr. Petrov, who has been the cornerstone of GOPET’s transformation into a dynamic regional player with a comprehensive range of services, will now focus on strategic areas of development as the Chairman of the Board. This change in leadership is a natural progression of our growth, combining our respected history with a fresh perspective for the future.
In her new role, Mrs. Pacuraru will oversee our group of six subsidiaries and a committed team of 380 professionals. Her vision is to steer GOPET TRANS towards being an agile and sustainable business, ready to adapt and thrive in the evolving landscape of transportation and logistics. Her profound understanding of GOPET’s values and culture, operations, client needs, and industry trends equips her uniquely to lead us to a new phase.
